TravelerWe had an amazing breakfast and coffee at Omar’s at the marina. We loaded up more provisions and left Soppers Hole…..Blackbeard’s hangout we found out!

Chicken fight!!
TravelerLanded at our first beach! Soggy dollar and Hondos in White Bay. We located some beach chairs and beverages. We hung out in the water,….Becky and Kris challenged some middle schoolers to a full on chicken fight. We lost twice and the kids were worried about hurting us! Lol! Lunch at beach cafe, a little shopping and back to boat to motor over to Cane Garden bay!

TravelerAnother man down….Tony not feeling good. Dave a little better. Mark is holding down the fort! We had no water and some pump issues on the boat but the captain and staff working hard to get it fixed. Headed in to shore for dinner at bbq spot called Elm bar. Great food and a great band, the Elm Tunes! We danced all night. We did not watch the Super Bowl but did not miss a thing! Blow out, chiefs lost! Tony could not join! Hoping he is better tomorrow. Becky made some new girlfriends and Mark danced with all the old ladies.

TravelerHad a bean bag chair go overboard. Captain quickly dropped the sails and did a turn about. Mark swiftly hooked the wayward bag. Happy to say that the bag was fully recovered without any harm. Sails back up!

TravelerWe had a beach side ceviche demo with conch. Our guide named, Sherwin, makes his own sauce. So amazing! Can’t believe we tried it! Raw fish with saltines. The best lime in the coconut!

Conch Mounds with Oreo

TravelerOur day began with an early 6:30 am snorkel tour to the conch mound graveyard in Anagada. It was a beautiful morning with great snorkeling as seen on Becky’s video. We saw a turtle, stingray and lots of fish. A little rough in the water at times and a good workout!!

TravelerWe continued our day on Anagada after breakfast with our first stop to rent jeep-like golf carts. We stopped at the iguana sanctuary, flamingo look out, and fisherman’s warf.

TravelerFull sails from Anagada to Virgin Gorda, Leverick Bay. A little rough but beautiful! Visited the boutique and Becky and Sherry had to down their roadies before going in! We took a taxi to the top of the island for bbq at Hog Heaven. Very steep climb with amazing views at the top!

Full Moon Party
TravelerCrazy Moon dance night! It was the celebration of the Snow Moon. DJ’s playing at 2 bars. Great vocals from a gal named Jolene! Watched a pottery demo and a guy doing limbo with fire! Cool beach area with bonfires on the beach.

Wreck of th Rhoan

Looking for treasure at the sunken ship, The Rhoan off of salt island. The Captain went overboard while sipping his tea. The crew wrecked trying to rescue him. A few swam to shore but they eventually all perished. The bodies are buried on the island.

Salt island got its name due to the islanders harvesting the salt to use and trade.Read more

Bight Bay on Norman island Home to The Willy-T. Captain got us front row parking. Dave and Becky snorkeled ashore and saw a small turtle munching grass close to the beach 🐢
TravelerLast dinner at Pirates Bight. Got into a little scuffle while trying to dock the dinghy! Lol! Beautiful night for our last night on the boat!
