Amantani Island @ Lake Titikaka Peru

I decided to escape Puno and stay for two nights on the Islands Amantani and Taquile.

I got hosted by a local family, who provided food and housing, and took me to some local hikes as well as to the folklore dance night.

Staying for two nights was a great experience because on the second day, I was the only tourist on this island as everyone left before me.

During the day it was hot and sunny but at night the temperatures dropped to minus 2 or minus 4 degrees. I was covering myself under 6 blankets but still felt cold. ❄Lue lisää
