• From Århus to Oslo

    15.–16. Aug. in Norwegen ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

    Another long travelday.
I started in my car at 09:15 and stepped out of it around 19:30 in Oslo.

The ferry was a super long but beautiful trip. If there is something I love, it is being near or on water, so I loved sitting outside in the wind, looking at a different part of the North Sea. I wished I could take a nap on the ship tho, but unfortunately it didnt happen.

I arrived in Norway at around 17:00 and it took a long time to get out of the harbour, but I could get out of the sheep behavior of everyone else and was on the road quite quick which was nice.

I drove to Oslo, and as my hotel is in the middle of the center, it was a bit hard to find a parking spot. I ended up in a very shady parking garage which was really hard to get out of again 😅 but I managed to find a nice parking spot behind the Historisk museum and out my harp in my room this time, because there was no wall I could park the butt of my car against. So I had to walk 2 times to the hotel to drop my stuff, but it was only a 5 minute walk so it was fiiinee.

I met up with Marie and we went to a part of the city which is by the water and had decent fish and chips and went for a loooong scooter drive along the water, to the Opera house, the palais, some nice (busy Friday night) streets and ended around 2300, saying goodbye and both going to our own hotel.

We are driving to Midgardsblot from here together which is only about an hour so thats perfect.

Oh and Heilung is performing at Rock the Lakes in Switzerland now as I'm writing this and I've been thinking about them a lot today. It felt so strange not to be there.. 😕 but I will see them on Sunday again 🥹🖤
