Last showday in Fuglafirði

I woke up at 11:11 with the most amazing view I have seen in a long time. What a beautiful country and how crazy that people can lead so many different lives and that this is normal for them while I have been in absolute awe ever since I arrived. We drove with Eivør and she dropped us of at Sigvørs place so we could get rid of our suitcases. We then walked back to the beach where she picked us up and we drove to the venue.

It was a very nice venue called Mentanarhúsið. We set up a for us pretty basic set up, did an incount of everything alweer brought and it was actually very cosy! The venue was absolutely packed with people and it was so nice to see the group in their own neighbourhood.
The food there was amazing, we had fish soup and after the show they had made salmon and beef, which was also really nice. Later they brought us carrot cake which we actually brought back to the house and I can not stop eating it..

After that we went to another bar just across the venue. It closed at 04.00 and Sigvør brought us back home with 6 people in the car. I was sitting in the passenger seat with Eivør sitting on my lap who turned in to the Blørk of Gøta and was singing songs the whole drive back.
