    First day alone in Nyborg

    October 28 in Denmark ⋅ ☁️ 9 °C

    Just went strolling around the cute village that is Nyborg. It's super idyllic, a true Christmas love movie setting.
    I got my nails done, bought chai latte, pizza and some small things in a very cute store 🥰.

    Admin day and bringing Nina to CPH ✈️

    October 29 in Denmark ⋅ 🌧 11 °C

    Did admin yesterday even and this morning for a lot of hours, checking all our number before we send them to the managers of all the bands. We had some catch ups in the afternoon before driving Nina to Copenhagen airport because she is flying back to the Netherlands tonight.

    I just got back in our cosy little house and put the fire on. Going to chill for a bit before I sort out my suitcase to leave for a hotel at Copenhagen airport myself tomorrow. I extended our rental car and I am going to drive to a few cities to discover a bit more of the country I love so much 🤎🇩🇰    Read more

    Last day in Denmark 😭

    October 30 in Denmark ⋅ 🌬 9 °C

    I extended my rental car for the whole day and woke up around 10:30, cleaned the house a bit and checked out at 12:00. I couldn't find the place where we had to leave our trash so I took it with me and had to find different places during my ride to trow them away because I had 3 bags and didnt want to throw them away at one place 😅.

    I started at the coast just besides the big bridge that connects Sjælland and Funen and sat by the beach for a bit. I drove through different small towns, found their cities centres and went to the next. Then I went back to Køge where Nina and me went a few times the last time we were in Denmark. I lost my gingko leaf ring, and really wanted to buy a new one and thankfully they still had it! I bought a few other things in some cute stores and decided to drive to Roskilde. I just love to have a car and cruise until I am tired.

    I got a VW passat and damn what a car. It had back massage with heating and everything! I am going to miss that car haha.

    Just drove around Roskilde a bit, saw a big thriftstore, but could contain my self and just drove past it.. I have spent enough money at this point and can not really add anything more to my baggage situation 😅.

    Then I was a bit done with driving and just wanted to relax. I had to bring back the car around 18:00 so I decided to check in to my hotel, drop off my suitcase and the big merchandise bag, fill up the tank and bring back the car.

    I found a sas cart on the road and took it with me whilst I bought a nice pumpkin spice chai and some food and went back to my hotel.

    I am going to sort all my stuff out one more time, because my suitcase feels way to heavy so I need to change my tactic. Check out is at 12 tomorrow so I have a nice few hours to relax before going to bed.

    I fly at 17:50 tomorrow, so that will be a long wait at the airport, but at least I will be on time.    Read more

    Flying to the Faroe Islands

    October 31 in Faroe Islands ⋅ 🌬 10 °C

    I had to check out of my hotel at Copenhagen airport at 1w and my flight to the Faroes was at 17:50 (which ended up going around 18:15) so I had a long day of waiting and was already exhausted before we even flew.
    I met up with Nina at the airport and when we landed, our taxi driver drove us straight to the restaurant where the rest was having dinner.

    It was called Tarv, in Tórshavn and the food was amazing. I didnt take any pictures of it, only of Nina her langoustine starter but I had a great cod as a starter and amazing soft tenderloin from the USA as main. It was sooo good.

    We were suppose to stay at Sigvørs house in Gøta, but apparently the taxi to her house was reaaally expensive so me and Nina were invited by Eivør to stay at her place which was really nice because we were a bit lost with what the plans were.

    After dinner we went to a nice bar and went to Eivørs house after where we had tea and went to bed just before 4 am 😬.    Read more

    Last showday in Fuglafirði

    November 1 in Faroe Islands ⋅ ☁️ 8 °C

    I woke up at 11:11 with the most amazing view I have seen in a long time. What a beautiful country and how crazy that people can lead so many different lives and that this is normal for them while I have been in absolute awe ever since I arrived. We drove with Eivør and she dropped us of at Sigvørs place so we could get rid of our suitcases. We then walked back to the beach where she picked us up and we drove to the venue.

    It was a very nice venue called Mentanarhúsið. We set up a for us pretty basic set up, did an incount of everything alweer brought and it was actually very cosy! The venue was absolutely packed with people and it was so nice to see the group in their own neighbourhood.
    The food there was amazing, we had fish soup and after the show they had made salmon and beef, which was also really nice. Later they brought us carrot cake which we actually brought back to the house and I can not stop eating it..

    After that we went to another bar just across the venue. It closed at 04.00 and Sigvør brought us back home with 6 people in the car. I was sitting in the passenger seat with Eivør sitting on my lap who turned in to the Blørk of Gøta and was singing songs the whole drive back.

    I had such an amazing day and I am very grateful I got to experience this. 🥰😭🥹    Read more
