What a great day so far. After arriving 10am we packed our gear on board, went for a beach swim, had lunch and a few tipples. Kathy's afternoon nap.
Tonight off to the pub with our fellow sailors.

Heading eastbound for bigger winds and waves. Staring our 4hr on 8hr off watch rotations. Tonight we got the midnight to 4am shift.
Off the Cape Byron Coastline

After a night of tacking we've rounded Cape Byron and should have a straight run to Tweed Heads. Hopefully anchoring tonight Gold Coast mooring.

Gold Coast Broadwater sail in and anchor in calm protected waters. The watches become less intense mostly revolving around ensuring our anchor position remains firm.
North Stradbroke overnight anchorage

Motored up the inner seaways from Broadbeach to Moreton Bay today and anchored just off North Stradbroke island. Great night sleep, morning swim and Island walk.
