Mud Volcano

Stinky, stinky sulfur! We learned that hydrogen sulphide creates the stinky egg-like smell by microbes converting it into an acid. The acid is a 1-2 pH like what you would find in a car battery. It can dissolve rocks and soil and creates the colors.

At this spot there were a few bison lazing about near the boardwalk. Patrick's favorite spot was the Dragon's Mouth Spring.Les mer
