John Day Dam & The Dalles Dam

While driving we decided that Lewis & Clark and all of the westward travelers on the Oregon Trail were insanely hardy, adventurous and incredible! Wow! We passed through mountains, lots of sage brush, along a raging river and through a canyon. They really wanted a better life and we are thankful for their dedication! What beautiful country, but in the winter it must be brutal as there were multiple spots for putting on chains for your vehicles in order to get through passes and over mountains.Lue lisää
