Boise History Tour

We completed our walking tour of Boise with a trip to the state capital.

Will and Sammy’s school takes the students on week long trips of Hells Canyon and Sawtooth National Recreation Area made possible by Cecil Andrus, a famous conservationist and Governor of Idaho as well as Interior Secretary of the United States. He famously took President Carter and his family on a rafting trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River to share and showcase his beautiful state.

The last picture of the power boxes was painted by Sammy’s Kindergarten class (the one on the right) and Will’s 4th grade class. Will drew one of the circles and Sammy one of the buildings.Read more
