Parc National du Bic

Stopped by this national park to break up the drive to our next campsite. Learned quickly it’s not the best place for a trailer. Narrow roads and not a lot of parking for RVs or trailers except for the west entrance, which is not the one we entered. So we drove through the entire park, luckily it’s a small park, and parked on the west (northern) entrance in a nice pull through RV parking lot.

After lunch we hiked out to the Íle aux Amours. It was a 3.3km round trip hike with part of it being on the sand/rock edge of the water. A few ups and downs and lots of bikes on the first part, overall gorgeous. We entered the island from the east side and are glad we did as we went down these steep stairs and not up. A good place to stop and stretch our legs.Read more
