Lamar Valley

Drove up to the northeastern part of the park for a sunset animal hunt! Here is what we saw:

Canyon Campground Departure

Efficient morning breaking down camp and cleaning up. Everyone helped out and we even had time for 🚿 showers! Great ⛺️ campground.
Norris Geyser Basin

Stopped at the Norris Geyser Basin on our way out of the park. Fun .6 mile boardwalk to explore for one last look and smell of the stinky sulfur geysers. We can't get enough!
West Yellowstone, Montana

Drove through a tiny section of Montana filled with tourist traps.

Farewell Bend

What an appropriate name for a state park, Farewell Bend. We bid adieu to the Snake River as it heads north and we turn to the northwest. We have loved following you dear Snake River! 🐍

Columbia River!

We are now officially heading west again along the Columbia River/Lewis & Clark Trail/ Oregon Trail Waterway!

John Day Dam & The Dalles Dam

Bonneville Hatchery

Surprisingly cool experience checking out the fish ladders and seeing them get bigger. Saw an enormous sturgeon fish and fed some really big rainbow trout. 🐟
Eagle Creek Campground

Sweet! This campground turned out to be great! Yes, it's tucked up in the hills next to I-84, but the trees block the highway and it's more just white noise. Great sleeping conditions. ⛺️ 👍🏻もっと詳しく
Bonneville Dam

Visited the first dam built on the Columbia River in 1937. President Roosevelt inaugurated the bridge himself. The fall fish run hasn't quite begun yet so there were not many fish in the ladders, butもっと詳しく
Horsetail Falls

Historic route 30 parallels interstate 84 and for 9 mikes brings you by numerous waterfalls. Horsetail Falls is 176' tall and looks just like its name.
Multnomah Falls

The most famous waterfalls in the region stand 620' tall with a paved walkway most of the way to the top and a cool bridge at the halfway point called Benson Bridge. This place was a ZOO so we tookもっと詳しく

Ike Kinswa State Park

Dash Point State Park
