Moab - St. George - Las Vegas

On our way back from Moab to St. George we wanted to visit Bryce canyon and some slot canyons. At 8am we left our sleeping place in capitol reef national park (at 2000m elevation) and started driving direction Escalante. But soon after, at 2450m elevation we had to return. Too much snow and ice for our van. And the road was suposed to go even higher up to 3000m.
That meant no Escalante or slot canyons for us and we decided to go directly to Bryce Canyon. Only to abort this mission too, a few minutes later. Heavy storms announced..
Next stop St. George, looking for dry rock to climb. Didn't find any but met a couple of friends there and decided to go all together to Las Vegas as the weather was looking promising.
In the end we had a great time in Vegas with old and new friends, enjoying sun and nature.Leggi altro
