University of Iceland

This morning, McKelvie and I walked to the main campus to explore and also to time how long it will take her to walk the route from her apartment to the Edda House of Icelandic Studies, where all of her classes will be held. It's about a 15-minute walk, but we didn't hurry, and it was all well lit with good sidewalks, etc. Made me feel good about her safety.

The Edda is the newest building on campus. They were still moving in new furniture as we walked around it. It is beautiful! The rest of the campus is full of colorful and unique buildings. Everything is very clean and organized. And everyone has been friendly so far. We found the bookstore, McKelvie's favorite place! Instead of thousands of squirrels, there are seagulls!Baca lagi
