So...roughly 24 hours after we left the Island Apartments, we made it to the Holiday Inn Express, ate at the Tower Top Grill, and fell into bed. Ellery has been sick for most of the day with a head cold.

We have eaten terribly, our backs are killing us, we miss McKelvie, Daddy, our fur babies, and everyone else, we don't want to go back to school/we DO want to go back to school, we're worried about landing in and driving home in a potential ice/snow storm back in Kansas, and we've had the BEST time ever.

It's actually 4:15 a.m. on January 4 as I write this because my body doesn't know what time it is, so that's going to be fun to regulate for the next week. I fell asleep in the middle of this post last night. 😝Read more
