Kawayu

- We stayed two nights in a town called Kawayu and stayed in very eccentric accommodation called the Art Inn. This is run by artists and was quite an eccentric place to stay!
- The first night we had dinner at a soba noodle restaurant, which was great! Just a lot of food. We also got to do some washing at a laundromat. They had these large scale washing machines that can wash and dry in 60 minutes! Crazy!
- The next day, we drove to Lake Mashu, which was a beautiful, huge, clear blue lake.
- We went on a hike through the forest and along the water’s edge.
- We then went on a boat ride to see some special, spherical algae that you get at Lake Mashu.
- That night we had a really delicious meal at a restaurant by our accommodation that included gyoza, garlic prawns and pork belly skewers.もっと詳しく
