Lemon Grove and Ruins Swimming

Our day started just outside of Sorrento touring a lemon grove and trying their artisanal Limoncello, distilled lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. We learned that they graft the lemon branches to orange trees to get the strength and resilience of the orange trees while still flowering lemons. The company here used the leftover peels from the limoncello to make a distilled lemon liquor, which was absolutely to die for.

For lunch, we stopped in the local marina for some fresh seafood (amazing peppered muscles!) and then we wandered down to the ruins of an old Roman villa which doubles as a great spot to swim.
