Day 15 - Edinburgh to Inverness

Our stay in Edinburgh was short as it was only a stopover on our way to the highlands. We took a train from Waverley station to Inverness. The train journey passed through rolling hills that eventually turned a bit more rugged and dramatic. Like many older European cities, Inverness is situated along a river and has a scenic walking path alongside where you can enjoy a stroll.
