Our time in Finland has Finnished

For today’s Scandinavian adventure, we ventured 45 kilometres northwest of Helsinki to the medieval town of Porvoo. Leaving before dawn, we braved the freezing morning air to catch the 7:55am bus. After arriving, we crossed over the picturesque Porvoonjoki River and set off to explore the town. The highlights of the day for me included the Empire District, Old Porvoo (with its cobblestone streets and colourful houses), and the Porvoo Cathedral. In the early afternoon, we returned back to Helsinki, where I focussed on finishing the last “reflection” assessment for the study tour! YAY!!! 🥳🥳🥳 I can officially be a proper tourist.
