Day 48 - mile 767

Today I finally saw the High Sierras! Hiking here is awesome. Today was also my first day of wading through snow fed mountain streams – I think I'm gonna need to buy some sandals because walking in wet shoes for hours isn't fun. (Update: actually, hiking with wet shoes after crossing a bunch of streams isn't that bad. They dry out pretty quickly!)

Nick Fowler went running past us on the trail today. He is attempting to break his record of completing the PCT in 52 days. That is absolutely amazing!Leer más
