Burgos to Hornillos del Camino

We climbed out of Burgos and continued climbing onto the Meseta. We only walked 12 miles today because the heat is so intense in the afternoon. Almost all the albergues are full because no one wants to travel any farther. This albergue is fairly new and has a lovely courtyard and a communal dinner. What is interesting on the meseta is that all the villages are tucked in a valley and they can't be seen from the road, as opposed to the villages before now, which are always on top of a hill or mountain and you can see the steeple of the church for miles.Leia mais
