Lots of sight seeing in Cambodia around Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.

Siem Reap was very nice with lots of amazing temples. The people were so kind and humble. I gave some flowers to a little girl and the way she thanked me was so precious, and our tour guide spent his tip on buying us some drinks!

Phnom Penh was really eye opening. We went to the killing fields memorial and learned about the Khmer Rouge genocide. It has had a lasting impact on the country, taking place only about 40 years ago. Every Cambodian knows someone who was killed, whether it was their family or friend. Despite such tragedy so recently, Cambodians are some of the nicest people on the planet. The country is 90% Buddhist and their peaceful beliefs and compassion has given them resilience and hope. It's been really moving to witness.
