    Another Ryanair sale, another Ryanair cheap flight.. this time Poland again but different City. Wroclaw, pronounced Rrrrrotslav.. or as Lisa calls it.. Coleslaw. Bournemouth airport is sooooo easy.. drop off, walk straight on to the plane, no messing. 2 hours later another adventure.. we landed 15 minutes early and quick Bolt to the apartment between 4 of us £8. Apartment £20 a night each in the heart of the Old Town. We only had a wander out for dinner and then an early night.Read more

    Old Town & the Bridge of Penitents

    Breakfast and lots of walking (16000 steps) oh, and 45m up a tower with 245 steps to the Bridge of Penitents.. connecting the two towers of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Wrocław. Known as the "Witches' Bridge," local legend says it is haunted by the spirits of vain or lazy women forced to sweep the bridge for eternity as punishment for avoiding marriage and household duties.     Ze Smakiem "best Wroclaw perogies"

    Google search "best perogies in wroclaw" well... We were not disappointed.. followed them on Facebook and sent a quick message to ask if we needed to book which they said we did and thank goodness we did. There was only 2 tables in the restaurant and we had managed to reserve one of them. I've tried dumplings all over the world.. and supposedly the best perogies in Krakow but this was next level! So many flavours.. handmade in front of you. We picked a bowl each.. a bowl being 9 perogies and we swapped 2 each of each. We had Pear and blue cheese.. beef and mushroom.. duck and cranberry and chicken and pork. My favourite was a toss up between the pear and blue cheese and the duck and cranberry. The restaurant has many awards displayed on their walls and I can tell why, absolutely divine!Read more
