Day 2

We made it to Madrid!!! Our flight from Chicago was delayed 1 1/2 hours. We arrived with 40 minutes to get from the airport to the train station. Our driver, Mauricio, was determined to get us there on time. We had 5 minutes to spare thanks to a new friend, Scott, who was in the same boat. Once we got to Pomplona, we grabbed a taxi. He drove like he was in the Gran Prix. The switchbacks did not slow this guy down. Final destination for the day St Jean Pied de Port, France. So grateful for a hot shower and dinner.
