Traveler We're in two minds about seeing the Civil War shelters. We had a chat about it with Nely, and it still is raw in minds of the people in Almería.
Laurie Reynolds I totally get that. One thing that I remember was the makeshift hospital down there. Not only to treat the wounded but also a place where babies were born —talk about the resiliency of the human spirit. And a confirmation that through the worst of it all, life goes on. But it was a very sobering visit. On a less serious note, how great are the amigos!!! If you meet Veronica, give abrazos from me!
