    Kakadu National Park

    9 de abril de 2022, Australia ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

To try to understand some of the first peoples connection to country we decided a tour into Kakadu National park was in order.

With insightful commentary from the guide/bus driver we headed off. With some of the oldest and most prolific rock art collections we visited the ones at Ubirr. Where a painting of a wallaby has been carbon dated to 20 thousand years old.

A cruise on the Yellow water billabong was next. The billabong boasts a beautiful array of blue and white water lilies, birds, barramundi and crocodile. Sadly, crocs were hiding today.

Then a quick stop at the Bark hut inn (typical NT pub) for a quick beer before we headed back to the caravan.
