Mount barnett road - Gibb River Road

No visit to Derby would be complete without a quick run along the Gibb River Road. As the road had recently been graded it was more like a highway than a 4WD trip.

We scooted along past Queen Victoria’s Head, Warren argued it was more like John Howard. The wet lands with the flocks of brolga’s and The King Leopold Ranges.

We stopped at the Adcock and Galvan gorges then continued on the Mt Barnett roadhouse. On the way back to Derby early in the evening it was amazing how many small owls were just sitting on the road. Luckily we missed them all.Weiterlesen
