Township proclaimed in 1980 prior to this was mining camp. Average age 34. It felt a nice safe town.
Mt Nameless (aboriginal name jurndunmunha ) sits between the town and the mine. I am still not sure the 4WD trip up the mountain was worth the view and the views were spectacular.

After mine tour and watching the induction video we headed up the Rio Tinto road to Karratha. Road was in good condition and we saw some ore trains up close.Les mer
