Flinders Ranges

This was another highlight of our trip. We stayed on a working sheep station in the Flinders Ranges. Merna Mora has about 3000 sheep on approximately 560 square miles and they all had to be crutched and drenched while we were there. We got to see the sheep dogs and motor cycles working the sheep, bringing them in and then back out again. When we weren't watching the sheep, we actually went and looked around the Flinders Ranges. Wilpena Pound was a little bit disappointing as I could not see the amphitheatre concept, and though it was a lovely hike, it left me wondering what it was all about.
