Montevideo Day 2

Today we explored wonderful and relaxed Montevideo. The old town has beautiful art deco and art nouveau buildings, never seen so many in one city. The walking, though, made us quite hungry and we went to a place called Puerto Market. Here we tried Uruguayan meet, which is supposed among the best in the world. True, it was outstanding, more impressive, however, were the huge barbecues packed with meat.
Heute haben wir Montevideo 'erobert', es ist eine sehr relaxte, wunderschöne Stadt. Die Altstadt besteht aus einer Vielzahl von ArtDeko und Jugendstilhäusern. Um die Mittagszeit sind wir dann in eine Markthalle gegangen, die in jedem Reiseführer erwähnt wird, Puerto Market. Dort gibt es übervolle Grills, von denen dann das uruguaynische Fleisch, dass mit zu den besten überhaupt zählt, angeboten wird.Read more
