Stuck in the middle of nowhere

First, we are suddenly being asked to alight our train IC2013 to heidelberg at mannheim station. Everyone on board heading to heidelberg was caught off guard. Luckily we managed to hop off the train and got on S2, the train which is supposed to bring us to heidelberg instead. But.... The train broke down.... The service took ard 30 mins more for us to get to heidelberg. But luckily we managed to reach heidelberg before sunset lol.
