Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio

If Costa Rica on the whole is beautiful, Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio is absurdly so. Though tiny, it was bursting with biodiversity and on our visit, we were lucky to see dozens of its inhabitants great and small sandwiched between the jungle and beaches. There were monkeys, snakes, macaws, lizards, agoutis, deer and 4+ kinds of crabs (in the sand! on the rocks! hermits in snail shells! in the forest?!???). What a crazy and magical day.

Wenn Costa Rica insgesamt hübsch ist, dann ist der Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio absurd schön. Obwohl er winzig ist, strotzt er nur so vor Artenvielfalt, und bei unserem Besuch hatten wir das Glück, Dutzende seiner großen und kleinen Bewohner zwischen Dschungel und Strand zu sehen. Es gab Affen, Schlangen, Aras, Eidechsen, Agoutis, Rehe und mehr als 4 Arten von Krebsen (im Sand! auf den Felsen! Einsiedler in Schneckenhäusern! im Wald?!??).
