Day 2 - Arrival in Kananaskis

Had breakfast in Calgary and headed for the Rockies. Our first stop is in Kananaskis Country. It was about a 90 minute ride from Calgary. We checked into our hotel, the Crosswaters Resort in Kananaskis Village. The resort is incredibly cozy. Would love to see this place in the winter with snow. A lot of the restaurants have fireplaces, or outdoor seating with firepits and heat lamps. It was a beautiful day, so we headed out for a hike around the resort. Lots of great views of the mountains.
