With no available accommodations ahead and Manny feeling under the weather with cold symtoms, we had a relatively short day. We still managed to cover about 11 miles of mostly flat terrain. We passed several quaint villages but there was little activity (Sunday morning). One town had a fountain that if you dipped your head in it, was supposed to give you energy.
