Day -1 in London

The flight from Doha to London was good. For my first travellers tip: don't bother with lounge access if you have a short stop over. I only had 3 hours between planes and wasted my money. The weather in London is lovely, though I had to laugh when I walked out of the terminal and it was raining (very short and very gentle). Managed to navigate both ticket collection and the two trains I needed to catch to Victoria Station. Then I found my accommodation easily - thank you, Google maps. I'm about 15 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace, so I headed straight there after I dropped my bag off. Preparations are well underway for the London marathon.Read more
