Day 3 - Calais to Wissant

What started as a cold bright morning turned into a day of rain, and it remained cold all day - around 11 degrees. We stopped for coffee at a wonderful bar, run by Alexa and Frank. They were lovely friendly people, as was everyone else in the place and they were impressed that we were pilgrims. There was a lot of beach walking today, which would have been fantastic in better weather, and what I could see of the coast line was majestic. Mary-Lou and I separated just over halfway, which meant she was able to avoid the impassable creek just before Wissant. I, on the other hand, got my feet wet!
