Venezia

A day in Venice was a dream come true. I walked the winding streets admiring the Gondolas and small secret bridges. By pure luck Mario and I took pictures in the early morning on the Rialto bridge without even realizing it. Then we strolled through San Marcos square and avoided the evil pigeons. Then we ate pasta in paper takeout boxes from DeMarcos. The fresh pasta and basil made it some of the best pasta I have ever eaten. Next some gelato to finish off our lunch. Then we just took the long way to get to the train station and we happened to pass by the Aqua Alta bookstore which I had wanted to visit.
