    The Sun Came Out

    Oct 17–18, 2024 in Canada ⋅ ☁️ 41 °F

What a delight when I looked out the window and saw the blue sky this morning! Sun must equal warmth. In my excitement, I put on my new shorts and hurried outside for my walk. It hasn't been busy since the weekend but I noticed the few people I saw were not wearing shorts! Well, I walked briskly enough to stay warm and I had my gloves.🧤 It's odd to leave the country in the summer and come back thinking things should be the same but you have missed almost a whole season.

Today I walked around lakes: Alta, Nita, and Alpha and a beaver pond. Almost 6 miles of glorious sunshine albeit brisk air. I found interesting art, metal detritus/art, and colorful flowers hanging on.

I enjoyed warming up in front of the fireplace and working on my fall puzzle for a couple of hours then Cindy and I bindged watched some episodes of Grantschester.

I have truly relaxed this week and enjoyed the beauty around me. I only wished Cindy was feeling better. She has a cold that is stuck in her chest and keeping her inside.

We were going to go home early but decided she can recover and sleep in the condo just as well as at home and I can get outside and stay away from her to avoid getting sick.

    Until tomorrow
