• Caves and Art

    August 11 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 77 °F

Today was the Best Excursion Day yet!! We explored Cool Caves and found some Fascinating Art.

On a hot day, these caves were cool in more than one way! There were many twists and turns and it felt like you were in a labyrinth. The walls were cool sandstone and we saw several bats. We were very quiet and used red lights so as not to disturb them.

Our next beach location was an ancient art gallery. How could you not be in awe at such amazing works of art? We have been learning the spiritual and cultural significance of the images. It was like I was walking into a cathedral in Paris.

Going back to the boat we found some Noni fruit. This plant is very important and used in restaurants to this day in Asia and Australia. They say the fruit tastes like Blue Cheese but I tried it and it tasted more like the inside of a middle school kids sneaker in the spring!

    Cheers from down under
