Birch Bay with Cindy

Birch Bay is only 2 hours from our house in Everett, WA but it seems like a real vacation. Cody is at his favorite person's house and doesn't miss us and we are at the beach. Well, a WA beach.

Birch Bay was named after all the birch trees Captain Vancouver and crew saw. There aren't as many left today as temperatures have changed.

Today we explored the State Park! It was my first Real Trail in a park with Cindy since my knee replacement surgery.

The rest of the day was spent icing my knee and keeping it elevated so it doesn't swell. Tonight is dinner and a movie in our condo.Läs mer
