    Ben's Ordination and First Mass

    I will never forget the smile on my godson's face the day he became a priest. His first Mass in the church he grew up in was packed with people who were his "Family", many who had driven days to see him.

    I can be skeptical about today's church but Ben really fits his calling and you can tell every time you look at his face.    Læs mere

    Last week

    On the last week we went out to a large property that all the families bought, had Mass and a meal and watched the children explore. It's a wonderful place that is full of dreams for future development and building only 15 minutes from their house. Maggie and everyone left for Ohio on vacation for a week.

    Cindy and our friend, Diana, flew out and we took Mom on a Staycation to a fancy hotel by the Mississippi for a couple of days and then to Galena, IL for the rest of the week. It was a chance to show Diana the highlights of the Quad Cities: Augustana College, where Cindy and I met, the Farm, where Cindy grew up, and the Mississippi River.
