Nijo Castle

Our first stop today is exploring Nijo castle, which is quite literally up the road from our hotel.

It's a lovely castle with some gorgeous gardens and plum groves. Fully moated like the other castle, and luckily for us the rain held off and only lightly spat here and there, making it easy for Michael to still take some lovely photos of the grounds!Read more
