    After a power nap, we caught a tram up to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum to pay our respects and take the time to learn about the horrible suffering the innocent people of Nagasaki endured as a result of the US dropping a nuclear bomb on the region.

    There were so many things we didn't even know, like how Nagasaki was never even meant to be a target, and only suffered because of cloud cover over the primary target. How many people died. How Aussie prisoners were killed. How shadows literally imprinted into objects from the blinding light of the bombs. So many facts and images to ponder.
