Visited Ha Long Bay Pearl Farm. The two items needed to induce the formation of a cultured pearl are a piece of mantle and a nucleus. The mantle piece, taken from a donor oyster, is grafted into the gonad of the recipient oyster, along with a spherical shell bead nucleus. We saw how the technicians completed this process grafting up to 900 oysters a day. Was spoilt with Mark buying me a pearl necklace for my birthday.もっと詳しく
