Ayers Rock, NT

758 kms - Crossed the border into the Northern Territory. Was a long drive today, we saw everything on the side of the road from burnt out cars, cattle and even camels! Tonight’s camp is at the Ayers Rock Resort. It is such a nice place to stay. Was our 7 year anniversary today so we celebrated by going to see Bruce Munro’s Field of Lights. It’s a breathtakingly beautiful garden of 50,000 ‘seeds’ of light, each made by hand blown glass. The fibre-optic fingers spread out across the space of four football fields.
