Darwin, Northern Territory

Capital of the Northern Territory, with a population of approximately 85,000. Heavily bombed during the Second World war. Totally destroyed by Cyclone Tracy Christmas Eve 1974. Now, very much a tourist hub. Easy access to Kakadu & Litchfield National Parks. Fantastic sunsets over the harbour.
