Maclean NSW to Eumundi QLD

A quick visit to Akubra factory in Kempsey.

Arrived in the afternoon at Maclean NSW. We had a nice stroll along the river and sighted the town’s historical buildings. Maclean was laid out in 1862 and early settlers along the Clarence were farmers from the Highlands of Scotland. The telegraph poles in town are all painted in different clan colours. A quaint little town.

Tonight we will set up camp Eumundi show ground and hope to visit the local markets before we head off to Rainbow beach.Read more
