Cooktown - QLD

A coastal town that sits on the Cape York
Peninsula with astonishing views. Rich history of Captain Cook and the booming gold-rush days. We spent our day driving up to Grassy Hill Lookout, walked along Finch Bay, and through the botanical gardens. Then we took a stroll through town and walked along the water and parks. Spoke to some lovely indigenous locals about fishing here. We bought some fresh tiger prawns for dinner. Love the fact there were hardly any tourists here. This place was worth the visit!Leggi altro
