Moreton Telegraph Station - Cape York

Left Weipa early and drove about 2.5 hours on the corrugated red dirt roads. We crossed a few creeks and rivers along the way. Visited the historic Moreton Telegraph Station which was established in 1887. On display was the old barge and telegraph pole.Read more
