Thursday Island - Torres Strait Islands

Left early this morning to catch a ferry from Seisia. The trip was over an hour to TI and once we arrived, we had organised a tour. Our tour guide called Mutti, drove us around the whole Island. Our first stop was at Pearl Island Seafoods. We bought some lobster tails for dinner. We then visited the cemetery and were given some history about the Japanese pearl divers graves. Mutti took us to Green Hill Fort to explore and later dropped us at the Gab Titui Cultural Centre. After lunch at the Grand Hotel, we explored the town centre and Bayo Beach.Læs mere
