Georgetown & Forsyth - Gulf Country QLD

Just before entering in Georgetown we saw stunning landscapes. It’s amazing how the landscapes changes so quickly from rainforests to savannah land..

Stopped in Georgetown for a quick look around, fuel up and visited the information centre.

Arrived at Forsyth’s caravan park before lunch. We had lunch then headed off to do some fishing at Charleston dam. Jake caught a Long Tom fish but no luck with the Red Claw traps. We all had a splash in the dam to cool off. Back to our campsite, we then walked around Forsyth and explored the town’s history. We stopped in the only pub in town for a beer and then back to our campsite for $15 dinners and $5 beers, what a bargain!Weiterlesen
